The Commercial Drivers License PASSENGER and BUS CHECKS This check must be performed on all passenger vehicles. The Examiner will ask all drivers requesting a passenger endorsement to check certain bus items. You will need to check the emergency equipment and emergency exits. Examiner Says • Explain your emergency equipment and emergency exits. First the emergency equipment. You Will • Check whether or not emergency equipment is present: - emergency reflectors or warning triangles - fire extinguisher - spare fuses unless bus has circuit breakers Examiner Says • Now check the emergency exits. You Will • Check the emergency exits by: - pointing to all the exits and - explaining or demonstrating how to open and close the exits. |
