Width

No vehicle, with or without its load, may exceed more than 8 1/2 feet (102 inches) in width.

Rearview mirrors may extend no more than five inches beyond the extreme limits of the body.

Safety appliances such as clearance lights, rub rails, flexible fender extensions, mud flaps, and spray suppressant devices; and things that stick out from your vehicle such as door handles, door hinges, and turning signal brackets may extend no more than three inches beyond the extreme limits of the body.
